Lactation Support
We extend breastfeeding support right from the moment you welcome your baby into the world, during your postpartum home visit, postpartum office visits, and through convenient phone consultations. Our International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) provides personalized and intensive assistance to our moms at the two-day in-home postpartum visit. She is also available by appointment for future visits if needed. This includes specialized care for issues like tongue and lip-tie, ensuring your breastfeeding journey is well-guided and successful. Your comfort and confidence in breastfeeding are our top priorities.
Postpartum Care
A comprehensive examination of the newborn is conducted by the mother's side when the baby reaches approximately one to two hours old. Before the newborn exam, essential assessments such as the baby's lung function, heart rate, temperature, and APGAR scores are carefully evaluated while the mother holds her newborn in her arms. Our team is certified in CPR and neonatal pulmonary resuscitation and equipped with the expertise to resuscitate babies if such intervention becomes necessary. The well-being and health of both mother and newborn are of utmost priority, ensuring a vigilant and secure environment during this critical postpartum period.
